Skills within a club will always be more due to the club skills boost, also boyfriends and fiance can boost skills.

When dueling, the boost amount does not show up on the profile of your opponent but they do show up in the arena although not all boosts can be accounted for
​
The skills to the left are a general estimate and should be used to set your own goals for increasing skills.
Skills are very important to a club. Your skills will help the club win and protect trophies, and skills at a lower level will make you a stronger player.

Level up too fast and you become weaker.
​
The best way to tell how strong you are is to count how many times you get dueled in a day or a week. If you get dueled every hour on the hour, you are not increasing your skills enough and are leveling up too often.
​
Since most players do not like to lose cash in a duel, having the best skills you can get is paramount to keeping your cash and being dueled less often.
​
Below is an example;
Skills at 118, having a level of 11, insures the player will be dueled maybe only once or twice a week. I know this from experience, from a friend in another version with these exact skills.
